My husband and I took a much needed 2 night “kid free” break at Stonewell and enjoyed every minute of the serene and beautiful surroundings. A perfect place to explore the Barossa or just stay put and make the most of the retreat. The attention to detail and excellent customer service also adds to the superb Stonewell experience!!

In October 2012 we needed a break and found Stonewell Cottages Hideaway. This was a memeorable holiday and we were pleased at the location, atmosphere, cleanliness and the fact that little considerations were everywhere and that we were made to feel so welcome – Thank you for our wonderful break and an extra special time.

We had just the one night at Cupid’s Cottage, but it was a fantastic, relaxing stay. Loved the fire, spa, boat, ducks and bikes! Amazing place to stay to get away from the hustle and bustle of a busy working week. Nice cosy cottage which I could easily live in! Everything is so clean and modern. Extremely happy with our stay. Excellent location and has everything you need! Look foward to one day returning.

What a fantastic 2 nights! The cottages are unique. Loved that they are so clean, the little things stand out above the rest, the breakfast supplies very adequate, the wood fire with daily supply of wood, very welcome. Loved the bed, the spa, the scenery, the outdoor settings, views…I could go on…! Thankyou for a very comfortable stay. (stayed with friends in both Haven Spa Retreats)

Loved all the little touches, flowers, candles, heart chocolates etc made us feel very welcomed. Every single thing was clean and well presented. Honestly nothing that I could say to improve our experience. Very happy we chose to stay here! (stayed in Haven Spa Retreat)

Dear Tina and Evan, thankyou for a such a wonderful cottage to finish our trip ‘down under’. We’ve loved everything about the Barossa Valley and we will be back to sample more Aussie ‘stickies’. We will miss the Aussie hospitality and of course Melot and Fronti (aka Dyson) – we’ve never seen such friendly ducks!

This was our second stay, having stayed in the Haven Spa Retreat, a few years ago, we liked the privacy and the spa is also a drawcard! The bed was particularly comfortable and the complimentary red wine was very good and much appreciated. Excellent produce and very generous breakfast provisions. The fire was so cosy, we got hot! The platter was a real treat. Thankyou!

Brilliant! Brilliant! Brilliant! Thankyou for your kindness, generous and warm hospitality. Tina was so lovely and helpful, attentive and caring over the phone, I knew I would be happy with the accommodation and that the attention to detail would be great. Our retreat was absolutely immaculately presented! All the finer details were thought of in preparation for our stay, things that we didn’t even expect but really appreciated, like chocolates, wine, more chocolates, fresh flowers, wood fire, local coffee and produce, such as the halloumi cheese. Our vineyard tour with Evan was the highlight. Thankyou!

The presentation of your cottages are high quality and comfortable, very cosy in a beautiful setting. Loved the attention to detail – the lavender flowers, choccies, romantic love notions etc very nice. You have done a fantastic job, it’s perfect the way it is! We truly loved it and will recommend you to all!

The perfect cosy winter retreat. All of the personal touches and Barossa produce make for fantastic value for money. Everything you could possibly think of needing is provided and more. The retreat was exceptionally well prepared for our stay.
