With the start of the famous Seppeltsfield Road Palm Avenue only 1km from the cottages, riding along this scenic tourist drive is a great way to spend the day. There are more than 10 cellar doors to stop at along the way. And if you get hungry, or feel a bit wobbly on your bike after all that good wine tasting, good places to stop for a bite to eat are Barossa Valley Estate, Seppeltsfield Estate, and Maggie Beer’s Farm Shop (daily cooking demonstrations at 2pm)

The major towns of Tanunda, Nuriootpa and Angaston are also linked by bike trails. There is a safe sealed off-road cycle trail that goes from Tanunda to Nuriootpa (about 8km one way), and the Barossa Rail Trail that goes from Nuriootpa to Angaston.
