Located on an 80-hectare site, the stone cellar door sales building has great views of the vineyards surrounding and the picturesque Barossa ranges beyond. The stone used for the buildings was quarried from our own property, the same stone used for Cupid's Cottage. The majority of Stonewell Vineyards grapes are delivered here. Torbreck

For those passionate about trying some seriously outstanding wines, a visit to Torbreck is highly recommended! The short deviation from Seppeltsfield Road is well worth it. Coming from the direction of the cottages, at the Stonewell Road/Seppeltsfield Road intersection turn left, then immediately right, to continue on Stonewell Road in a northerly direction. Take the next left turn onto Roennfeldt Road. Go past the large winery building and a little futher up the road on the left is the cellar door, a beautifully restored stone cottage which oozes charm and character.

Dave Powell founded Torbreck in 1994. Low yielding, old and dry grown Barossa Valley vines are the cornerstone of his wines, where traditional, manual winemaking methods and minimal intervention are combined to produce a variety of wines each year. This winery is truly a rarity, where all the wines, from the Woodcutters Shiraz right through to the flagship wine RunRig, are outstanding.
