Tscharke’s Place

Recognized as a leader amongst the new generation of Barossa Winemakers, Damien Tscharke is the name behind Glaymond and Tscharke Wines, two premium estate grown and produced wine ranges that encompass the traditional and emerging strength of the Barossa. Visit their stunning, traditionally built German cellar door building, where you can also see some of the beautiful hand pottery work of German born Eva Tscharke.

Damien specializes in what’s often referred to as ‘alternative varieties’. This is the place to go if you are interested in trying something other than Shiraz – Spanish and Italian varieties such as Savagnin, Tempranillo, Montepulciano and Zinfandel. This is the place to broaden your wine knowledge and excite your palate! You’ll find Damien is wonderfully passionate about the outstanding wines he’s producing.
