This was our 13th visit to Stonewell, each time is better than the last, already planning our next visit. The attention to detail is never short of amazing.
My wife and I wanted a quality break in quiet surroundings and the 3 nights spent in the Haven Spa Retreat exceeding our expectations. So quiet and tranquil yet it lies in the heart of the areas we wanted to visit and, therefore, driving was limited to just short journeys, returning to enjoy and relax in our accommodation in between trips. Would highly recommend.
Cupid’s cottage was a perfect place to enjoy a small honeymoon after our wedding. We loved the extra little touches in the cottage, the beautiful platter on arrival, the scenery and of course, the ducks! Thank you also to Evan for transporting us to and from Appellation for a beautiful meal. We will be recommending Stonewell to our friends and family and can’t wait to come back again. Thank you!
The Hideaway Cottage was a fantastic place to relax and unwind after a busy day in the Barossa. Every detail had been taken into account and it was so easy to relax, unwind and enjoy our short stay. Feeding the ducks was a great way to start the day after a beautiful breakfast. We'll be back!
Our retreat was lovely - so nice to come in on a hot day to a nice cool abode. The chocolates, biscuits, truffles, port, wine etc was wonderful. We ate all the truffles on the first night - they were nice with the port! There was nothing out of place - it had been set up beautifully. Thankyou, we had an awesome stay.
We will be sending all our friends! We could not fault anything - perfect. The platter was very tasty. Thanks for making our 25th wedding anniversary special.
The gardens were beautifully kept and loved the small extra touches such as feeding the ducks, chocolates, wine and local produce. Thankyou for making our stay a wonderful treat and we hope to come back next time for longer.
The location, facilities and privacy of Cupid's Cottage exceeded our expectations. It's difficult to find this unique combination. Our positive experience of Stonewell Cottages, Cupid's serenity and Stonewell's care and generosity, has favorably influenced our memories of travel to the Barossa. Many thanks for a real 'taste' of the Valley; Schulz Bacon and Jersey Fresh milk with the cream on top!! My hope is to be able to take some of Cupid's calm and balance back home with me. Well done!
