Living locally you are privy to information not everyone has access to, so I will share with you the fabulous locals meals available at our fine dining and top end eating establishments.
Firstly St Hugo often seen as a degustation destination, also has a condensed lunch version available ‘A taste of St Hugo’. The lunch comprises two courses beautifully crafted by Executive Chef Mark MacNamara. Enjoy a daily changing menu that takes advantage of their kitchen garden. $45 pp.
Appellation at The Louise, a wonderful fine dining restaurant has locals night on every Wednesday. A three course set menu inspired by Executive Chef Daniel Murphy focusing on freshness and local produce. $59 pp. Bookings essential.
The last of my local tips is Vino Lokal, Thurs night is “Kitchen Table night” where $50 gets you a seat at the Vino Lokal Long Table. Just sit back, relax with a glass of wine from the extensive Artisans Of Barossa wine list and be well looked after by the culinary skills of Executive Chef Ryan Edwards and his team, as the chef’s weekly specials are unveiled. Bookings essential. Limited to just 18 people. (Note Kitchen Table was previously held on Wed nights and has now changed to Thurs nights)
So join the locals and book a mid week getaway and take advantage of all this good food and wine! Check out our Winter Warmer specials > www.stonewellcottages.com.au/specials/
